¡Que viva el salterio! | Danzón y Huapango Concert
The Mexican Cultural Institute is pleased to present a special concert on April 16th at 7:00 PM, featuring the Dulcemelos Duet and the Makochi Dulcemelos Youth Orchestra.
Directly from Queretaro, Mexico, these talented musicians will delight us with a unique interpretation of Mexican music, using the traditional psaltery. The program will include both traditional music and contemporary pieces written for psaltery and piano by renowned Mexican composers such as Eduardo Soto Millán, Maestro Leonardo Coral, Manuel de Elías, and Francisco Núñez Montes.
An unmissable evening to enjoy the richness and diversity of Mexican music!
This event is open to all ages audience. As a non-profit, the Mexican Cultural Institute thanks all its supporters helping us continue our cultural mission by getting involved and donating to our cause.
