Passport DC: Embassy World Tour 2024

The Mexican Cultural Institute takes part in the Around the World Embassy Tour, one of the multi-embassy events hosted by EVENTS DC - PASSPORT DC. On May 4th, attendees will travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance and fashion.

This year's theme is Mexican music in diplomacy. Our doors will be open from 10:00AM to 4:00PM. Come visit our historic mansion on 16th St., admire our famous murals, the Talavera room, and our current exhibitions at the galleries. We will have music, mariachi, some refreshments, and the debut of the recently created Coro Carlos Chávez of the MCI. Featuring a pop-up boutique of "El Chamán, Tú y Yo" exhibition with Wixárika art by Francisco Loza, Mexican crafts by Catrinas Corazón, and the Cacti Lady.
