Nuevo León in the U.S.

Our journey through the Mexican states resumes this week with the arrival of Nuevo León, a prosperous region located in northern Mexico amidst majestic mountains. Join us and discover more about the cultural richness of this place. 

This event is presented by the Embassy of Mexico in the United States, the Government of the State of Nuevo León and the Mexican Cultural Institute.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9
6:00 PM | Book presentation The Murmur of Bees (El murmullo de las Abejas) with the author Sofía Segovia, Ofelia Montelongo and Melissa Segura. Followed by regional music concert by Raíces, Folkloric Company of TEC de Monterrey, featuring the voices of Mirena Leos and Edgar Mata.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10
6:00 PM | Dance and music presentation by Raíces, Folkloric Company of the TEC de Monterrey.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11 

11:00 AM | Candy workshop "Making glorias".

12:00 to 4:00 PM | #OpenHouse featuring folkloric dance and regional music presentations by Raíces, Folkloric Company of the TEC de Monterrey, regional gastronomic demonstrations (while supplies last) and giveaways! Free admission. Tickets are not required for this event.
