Sotol is a distillate made from a type of shrub commonly called "desert spoon". The desert spoon plant, which resembles a yucca (or sea urchin), is a succulent plant with long, spiny leaves that grows wild. It is found in the Chihuahua region of Mexico, although it grows as far north as Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Compared to the crisp tequila or the often smoky mezcal, sotol tends to be bright and herbaceous. We invite you to enjoy a sotol tasting with sommelier Luis Alberto Muñoz and learn about this exquisite treasure of the northern Mexican desert. Event for +21 years old.
