Enrique Olvera, widely considered Mexico’s best chef, is a leading culinary authority who has been praised for his brilliant reinvention of traditional Mexican cuisine and that has influenced a generation of chefs. In his second English-language book, Tu Casa Mi Casa (Phaidon), Olvera focuses on authentic Mexican recipes meant to be prepared with ease at home.

Join us for an opportunity to hear about traditional techniques and flavors of this vibrant cuisine from one of the best chefs of his generation. Enrique Olvera will be in conversation with Alberto Fierro Garza, Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Institute.
ABOUT CHEF ENRIQUE OLVERA
Enrique Olvera is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He opened Pujol in Mexico City in 2000. He is also the chef and founder of Cosme and Atla in New York City, Ticuchi and Eno in Mexico City, Criollo in Oaxaca, and Manta in Cabo San Lucas.
His awards include: Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award Latin America. He is the author of the Spanish-language books Uno (2010), En la Milpa (2013), and Mexico from the Inside Out, in Spanish and English (Phaidon, 2015). He lives in Mexico City.
