Day of the Dead at the Mexican Cultural Institute: Each year, the Mexican Cultural Institute on 16th Street NW creates a traditional Dead of the Dead altar. This year’s altar, by artist Carlos Guzmán, honors the state of Oaxaca, decorated with chocolate, mezcal and handmade Oaxacan products.
