In this evocative body of work, Regina Escobedo explores the connections between memory, nature, home, and the passage of time. Through her artistic practice, plants and gardens become more than just places or objects—they become spaces where memories take root, grow, and transform.

Curated by Ana Aguilar, this exhibition invites us to reflect on the ways our personal and collective memories are shaped by the places we inhabit and the natural world around us.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Regina Escobedo Guerra is an artist from Guadalajara, Mexico currently living in New York City.

Working primarily with oil, gouache, and acrylic, Escobedo layers and weaves objects with pattern-making and different narratives to construct, reconstruct, and preserve spaces of memory and curiosity. ​

Regina holds a BFA in Studio Art from New York University and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art.
