Tequila Tasting with Mosto Tequila
Celebrate the spirit of Mexico through tequila, gastronomy, and culture at the Mexican Cultural Institute’s Tequila Tasting in collaboration with Mosto Tequila, Chicatana Restaurante, and Si Salt.
This special evening will feature two connected experiences designed for tequila lovers, curious newcomers, and anyone looking to enjoy an unforgettable cultural night in Washington, D.C.
OPTION 1 — Guided Tequila Tasting + Celebration Reception

6:00 PM – Guest Arrival & Check-In
6:30 PM – 7:15 PM Guided Tequila Tasting
7:15 PM – 9:00 PM Celebration Reception
This ticket includes:
• Access to the guided tequila tasting led by Mosto Tequila
• Full access to the Celebration Reception afterward
• One complimentary Mosto Tequila drink during the reception
• One complimentary food item by Chicatana Restaurante
• Guided tasting of different tequila varieties and their sensory profiles
• Educational presentation on tequila production, history, and cultural significance
During the tasting, guests will enjoy a seated guided experience featuring tequila samples paired with chocolate, orange slices, and artisanal salts while learning about the craftsmanship behind tequila production.

OPTION 2 — “Celebration of Tequila” Reception Only

Join us for an evening celebrating one of Mexico’s most iconic cultural traditions through flavor, conversation, and community.
The reception will offer a lively and relaxed atmosphere with music, cocktails, contemporary Mexican cuisine, and opportunities to continue exploring the world of tequila in a social setting.
Additional Information:
• Mosto Tequila bottles will be available for purchase during the event.
• Additional food and beverages from Chicatana Restaurante and Mosto Tequila will also be available for purchase separately.
• Guests must be 21+ to attend.
