Exhibit: New Roots of Mexican Design
The University of Monterrey in Mexico, with the support of the Mexican Cultural Institute, invites you to the exhibit New Roots of Mexican Design, opening this Saturday, October 19th at 6:45pm at the Mexican Cultural Institute.
The exhibit brings together the work of students of Graphic, Industrial and Fashion Design, reflecting their identity and celebrating their roots and cultures, based on Mexican landscapes, materials, traditions and art.
New Roots of Mexican Design has a contemporary vision of the traditional that brings with it the concerns and concrete actions towards the environment and sustainability that from textile design, gastronomy, playfulness and even the current needs of the big city are sought to solve.
