Su lengua materna es el Tu\u00b4un S\u00e1vi (mixteco) variante del este medio, y su segunda lengua el Castellano. Estudi\u00f3 Licenciatura en Educaci\u00f3n Primaria para el Medio Ind\u00edgena y Maestr\u00eda en Pr\u00e1ctica Docente e Integraci\u00f3n Cultural; es migrante jornalera desde peque\u00f1a y ha recorrido con sus padres los principales destinos agr\u00edcolas del pa\u00eds. Protagoniz\u00f3 el cortometraje \u201cIta Yuyu\u201d. (Premio Pantalla de Cristal, Guadalajara, 2003) en su lengua materna. Como m\u00fasico tradicional ha grabado dos discos en su lengua materna (Sonido de lluvia, 2007 y Vik\u00f3, 2012); es tambi\u00e9n gestora, promotora e investigadora cultural, formadora, docente tallerista, Mediadora de la Sala de lectura \u201cColibr\u00ed Migrante\u201d desde 2017, traductora e interprete. <br><br>Obtuvo el Primer Lugar en Concurso de Canto (Metlat\u00f3noc, Guerrero, 2003) y el Premio CaSa en la categor\u00eda de Narrativa en lengua Tu\u2019un Savi (Oaxaca, 2021). Sus textos se han publicado desde el a\u00f1o 2021 en diferentes blogs, revistas, en radios y en su canal de YouTube (Tachi Savi-Martina Rojas) donde tambi\u00e9n ense\u00f1a su lengua materna. Recibi\u00f3 su Licenciatura de la Universidad Estatal de California Fullerton en Espa\u00f1ol con \u00e9nfasis en Literatura y una especializaci\u00f3n en Servicios Humanos. Jes\u00fas shared his early life of gang violence, poverty, and language barriers with his nine siblings; he grew up in South Central Los Angeles and the small border town of Brawley, CA. Jes\u00fas practices as an emergency medicine physician and is currently working on short stories, poetry, novels, and non-fiction pieces. Our goal is to create a repository of our collective memory, easily accessible to the general public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe that oral traditions have shaped the identities and experiences of human beings.
