First Thursdays, 6:45pm, February - December of 2018 at the Mexican Cultural Institute

 

The Mexican Cultural Institute is excited to announce its 2018 Music Series, La Música de México. The 2018 Music Series is a connected and comprehensive program of concerts, conferences, and recitals with some of Mexico and the US's most renowned composers, musicians, and academics.

Curated by Mexican musician and composer Carlos Sánchez-Gutiérrez (professor at the Eastman School of Music), the program will host an event on the first Thursday of every month from February to December of 2018. Events will span genres from traditonal to contemporary and include the expertise of composers, musicians, ethnomusicologists and more!

All events in the series are free with a $5 suggested donation. RSVP!
